What this is
The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC) is the national baseline standard, published by NHS England, for NHS and social care digital health providers. It brings together criteria covering clinical safety, data protection, technical security, interoperability, and usability and accessibility.
DTAC is completed by the technology supplier and reviewed by the commissioning NHS organisation as part of its procurement and assurance process.
